I have recently visited Naples for my very first time and have had the great opportunity to stay at the Eurostars Hotel Excelsior, one of the great classic hotels in Naples.
Staying at Eurostars Hotel Excelsior in Naples
Location
Located in Lungomare and a few meters from the Castell Dell Ovo, the Eurostars Hotel Excelsior has an unbeatable location, close to the beach and to a wide range of dining options nearby. It is the best area of the city, beautiful, romantic… and totally safe.
What makes this hotel unique are its spectacular views of the Gulf of Naples. From its terrace and from most of its rooms it’s possible to enjoy the best views in the city, including Vesuvius, Castel Dell’Ovo and Lungomare.

Rooms
The rooms are dignified of palace, large and spacious with a classy decoration. All rooms are distinct in terms of décor but all have in common the silk-clad walls, marble bathrooms, and Murano glass chandeliers. It’s a place that automatically transports you to the Belle Époque.
Our room was a junior suite with sea views, from which we enjoyed the view to Vesuvius, Castel Dell’Ovo and Lungomare.

Gastronomy
Breakfast
As always in Eurostars hotels, breakfasts are exceptional. The variety will not disappoint and it’s served in a large palatial-style lounge.
Ristorante La Terrazza
Ristorante La Terrazza is a panoramic restaurant located on the rooftop of Eurostars Hotel Excelsior. This terrace is what makes this hotel unique, with its spectacular views of Vesuvius, the Gulf of Naples, the islands of Ischia, Capri and Procida, Castel Dell’Ovo and Lungomare. Even in bad weather it is possible to enjoy the breathtaking views.
Room Service
Our arrival at the Eurostars Hotel Excelsior from Procida was already at night, so we decided to order our dinner to room service. The menu of the Ristorante La Terrazza is included in this service. Our choice? Fetuccine Bolognese and Caprese salad.
