Its unique cobblestoned streets

The biggest tourist attraction in the island is Mykonos Town, also known as Chora.

Spend hours wandering on Mykonos streets, getting lost in its colorful maze: you’ll find bougainvilleas and pennants among shops of all kinds: you’ll love it!

Tip: if you want the streets only for yourself, go for sunrise! Otherwise the streets will be full of people and shops stalls.

Windmills

Only a few meters away from little Venice, 5 mills stand on the top of a hill.

These mills are photogenic from different angles, both at sunrise or dusk. My favorite? The last one, from where you can get a different perspective of Little Venice.

Tip: Although the mills are no longer operational, this does not mean that the wind does not blow strong. Leave your hat in the hotel room for this occasion;) 5 Windmills on a hill, a few meters away from Little Venice, make the best surrounding to enjoy the sunset.

Little Venice

Close to the windmills, Mykonos has its own small version of Venice.

There, the fishermen’s cottages-built 2 centuries ago perch on the sea with their colorful balconies. Today these houses have become restaurants, cafes and bars that offer some of the best sunsets on the island.

Tip: visit 360º panoramic bar in the highest area of Mykonos Town for a perfect sunset view.

Paraportiani, the oldest church in Mykonos

The white and pristine church of Paraportiani is actually the set of 5 churches that were built one on top of another. Its white color contrasts with the blue sky and is one of the most photogenic places on the island.

Tip: Visit Paraportiani in the morning for the best light.

#Happiness

How to make your store famous? Name it #Happiness and it will become instagram-famous!

Tip: Visit this place at sunrise! The rest of the day is very crowded and the shops are open.

Where to sleep in Mykonos: Cavo Tagoo Mykonos

Cavo Tagoo Mykonos is one of the most luxurious, fashionable and also photogenic hotels in Mykonos.

Tip: If Cavo Tagoo Mykonos is out of your budget, you can still access the pool to have a cocktail and enjoy the sunset from there. 100% Recommended!
