Instagram spots in Paris

Although Paris is known as the City of Lights and the City of Love, for me it will always be the city of beauty. Is there any other city in the world as beautiful as Paris? Paris is unique and its photo opportunities are endless.

Here you will find the most instagrameables places in the City of Love.

Instagram spots in Paris

The most instagrammable spot with a view to Eiffel Tower is definitely from the Trocadero steps. Also, do not miss the view from the square at the top of the stairs and if you walk to Eiffel Tower you’ll find the most photogenic carousel in Paris:)

Tip: visit Trocadero for sunrise to enjoy the most amazing colors. In winter it will be easier to find a place for your photos, but spring time will be much better in terms of color and light.

Jardin du Palais Royal

The Jardin du Palais Royal features several gardens including Les Deux Plateaux – also known as Les colones de Buren. It’s a permanent exhibition with 260 columns of Carrara marble with black and white stripes forming some kind of a checkerboard… an invitation to play. Enjoy this place! 🙂

Tip: If you don’t have one, buy yourself a beret! There is nothing more parisienne and you will see many real Parisian women wearing it. You can find them even in the souvenir shops.

Place Vendome

Place Vendome is one of the most luxurious squares in Paris, with both Ritz and Vendome hotels and the most exclusive shops in the city, such as Louis Vuitton. Beautiful buildings surround the Vendome column.

Tip: if you visit Paris at Christmas, do not miss the outside of Louis Vuitton’s shop as they always install colorful decorations for the holidays.

A room with a view

A visit to Paris will never be complete without waking up in a room with a view to the Eiffel Tower. Try to make this happen at least for one night as it’s a romantic and unforgettable experience. I’ve stayed at Le Chat Noir and can totally recommend it!

Rue Crémieux

This pastel colored alley looks it’s made for Instagram. Each house is painted in a different pastel hue and all houses have plants, flowers and bikes on the outside.

Tip: This street is far away from the tourist areas so it’s not the best idea if you don’t have plenty of time in the city.

If you have more than one weekend in Paris, you can spend a full day at Disneyland: the happiest place on Earth!

Buy yourself some Minnie ears, hop on all the attractions – Star Wars hyperspace Mountain is my adrenaline recommendation – and of course, don’t miss the final parade and the light show at the end of the day!

Tip: take the train to Disneyland at sunrise to get there as early as possible so you can enjoy the Pink castle without a gazillion people around you. You will also enjoy much more time in the park 🙂

I still have many Parisian spots left to share! Infinite spots in my favorite neighborhoods, Quartier Latin and Montmartre, and places like Arc de Triomphe, Louvre and Notre Dame will be visited again soon to complete this instagram guide. Stay tuned!
