Eduardo guided us through the farm, introducing an array of aromatic herbs, colorful vegetables, and luscious fruit trees. We strolled through the neatly arranged rows, and with each step, we felt more connected to nature. Eduardo’s dedication to sustainable and organic farming was inspiring, and I couldn’t help but be in awe of the knowledge he shared.

From Farm to Table: A Gastronomic Adventure

One of the highlights of this farm experience is the farm-to-table dining at Calacala’s restaurant. The hotel’s talented chef crafted exquisite dishes using the freshest produce we harvested with Eduardo just minutes before, straight from the farm. The flavors were really intense!

Our menu included a lemon salad, a tomato salad, pasta al limone and a bottle of wine. Everything was incredibly delicious, but the insalata de limone was the most surprising and refreshing dish, using Procida’s sweet lemons.

Beyond the farm experience, Calacala Hotel offered an oasis of relaxation. We spent a few hours lounging by the pool, away from the noise and the hustle. The overall experience was a reminder that in a fast-paced world, there are still havens where time slows down, and we can savor the simple joys of life.
